Jan Snook has written over two hundred short stories and serials for women’s magazines, as well as several articles for Writing Magazine, and is a previous winner of Bloomsbury’s Short Sentence Crime story competition.

Having read French at Newcastle University, Jan has written three language teaching books, but her real love is fiction: she is currently concentrating on writing contemporary women’s fiction and children’s books.

She is a member of the Romantic Novelists’ Association and the Society of Authors, and is a (thankfully) retired lecturer. Jan lives in Surrey with her husband.
