Based in London, SYLA was founded in 2007 and represents many talented and exciting writers including Kerry Young, whose début fiction title Pao, the story of a Chinese Jamaican racketeer, was shortlisted for the Costa First Novel Award 2011.

Home: 15%
US, Canada, translation, audio, TV and motion picture: 20%
The Commonwealth regional prize is to be announced on Tuesday 22 May 2012.
